Spurs Fall to Resilient Kings; Debuts of Lamb & Shumpert Spoiled in Overtime.

Zach "Z-Bo" Randolph took it upon himself to rally the Kings, whose stagnant effort in the first half nearly led to a blowout in the 3rd quarter, before the big man sparked the comeback. Randolph would hit the go-ahead layup down low in the post, a familiar territory for the former Grizzlies forward. He finished with 28 points. The Spurs had several chances, including a shot by Jeremy Lamb at the buzzer that missed and another by Kawhi Leonard in a vain effort to match Randolph's shot inside. Pau Gasol also was kicking himself for missing two free throws late that would've gave the Spurs a 2PT lead before Z-Bo's big shot that sent the crowd into a frenzy.

Iman Shumpert and Jeremy Lamb played well in their first game with the Spurs.
